Change in Champions League matches schedule: Kolkata lost games

 BCCI moved Champions League T20 matches from Kolkata to Hyderabad and Bengaluru due to heavy rains in the city. BCCI took this decision after consulting Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) officials. Eden Gardens matches will be moved to Rajiv Gandhi stadium in Hyderabad and Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore. Changes in 2011 CLT20 schedule:  1. September 25: Warriors Vs South Australia will be held in Hyderabad. 2. September 25: Match between qualifiers will be played at Uppal stadium in Hyderabad. 3. September 27: South Australia Vs qualifier will be played at Uppal stadium in Hyderabad. 4. September 29: Royal Challengers Vs qualifiers will be played at Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. If Kolkata Knight Riders qualify to the group stage, they will miss the chance of playing at home. CSK fast bowler Tim Southee is out of CLT20

 Chennai Super Kings and New Zealand pace bowler Tim Southee is out of 2011 Champions League T20 tournament. He failed to recover in time from cartilage damage to the left knee. Tim Southee recently won the ICC award for best T20 performance. Chennai Super Kings laid high hopes on the pace combination of Doug Bollinger and Tim Southee. Loss of Southee to injury will have significant impact on the fortunes of Chennai Super Kings.  Chennai Super Kings may urgently need to replace Tim Southee with a genuine pace bowler as they already have quality spinners like R. Ashwin, Suraj Randiv and Shadab Jakati. Chennai may replace Tim Southee with Sudeep Tyagi/Kulasekhara/Ben Hilfenhaus. Tim Southee is now in wonderful form. He was the third highest wicket-taker in 2011 Cricket World Cup and also performed well in England domestic T20 tournament. CSK laid high hopes on this Kiwis fast bowler even though he failed to live up to expectations in 2011 IPL.
