Now, Nokia is the title sponsor of the Champions League and bought the rights for 2011 CLT20 Prize money: Total prize money: Rs. 28 crore ($ 6 million) Winners: Rs. 11.6 crore ($ 2.5 million) Runners-up: Rs. 6 crore ($ 1.3 million) 2 losing Semi-finals: Rs. 2.3 crore each. 5th – 10th place teams: Rs. 95 lakh each. Teams who failed to reach group stage will receive participation fee but they need to share it with the board. Trinidad & Tobago reached group stage of 2011 CLT20
West Indies domestic T20 champions, Trinidad & Tobago reached the group stage of 2011 Champions League T20 cricket. T&T qualified to group stage by topping pool B after winning the 2 qualifiers. Trinidad defeated Ruhunu on September 19 and decimated Leicestershire on September 20. Trinidad will join Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, New South Wales and Cape Cobras in Group A. September 19: Trinidad & Tobago defeated Ruhunu by 5 wickets. September 20: Trinidad & Tobago defeated Leicestershire by 51 runs. In spite of missing stars like Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo, this 2009 Champions League finalists came out with sterling performances. They have the chance to take revenge by defeating Dwayne Bravo's Chennai Super Kings and Kieron Pollard's Mumbai indians in Group A games.
